Who is this chick?

Often mistaken for Madonna, Tanner McIntyre is an actress, singer, and musician born and raised in White Plains, New York. She spent her youth getting frozen yogurt with her mom, playing catholic-youth-league basketball, and collecting uniform conducts for her skirt being too short.
Theater began literally opening doors for her in the 5th grade when she played ‘The Doorman’ in the Wizard of Oz. She denies the rumors implying that she asked the nuns directing ‘why she was not the lead’
She is fascinated by and dedicated to better understanding the world around her through a compassionate, and joyful lens. This curiosity has led to a lifelong pursuit of the exploration of people. Tanner loves people! She loves talking to them, meeting them, and laughing with them. In fact, most of her favorite interactions have taken place with strangers she’s met on line waiting for coffee :)
She is currently a senior at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and is super stoked to be playing Sonya in “The Great Comet of 1812” as well as Shelby Hinkle in “I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire” next semester at school.
Some previous UNCSA credits include Lillie Anne in “Barbecue”, Gayle Davenport in “Enron”, and Alice in workshop of her FAV musical “Alice by Heart”
This year she looks forward to shooting a comedy web-series with her best friends in the spring called “Nine Cavities” as well as continuing to develop her first full-length play, a comedy about an all-girls-catholic high-school called “The Virgin Molly”.
